Community Action
Community Action is the Rural Community Council which serves the communities of Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. We employ a team of professional staff who support communites, individuals and voluntary and community groups to enable them to develop projects and initiatives in their rural areas. Topics include: rural transport, village halls and community centres, parish plans, funding advice and support, and assistance on governance issues.
Our role within the C3 partnership is to support the project in our rural areas across the former Avon area, and to develop our quality standards initiative through our Hallmark award scheme for village halls and community centres and through the development of quality standards for voluntary and community organisations.
