Once you have completed the self-assessment and action planning phases of the C3Perform process, your organisation will already start to experience the benefits of committing to the performance improvement process:
- New knowledge and understanding of the Excellence Model can help participants adopt an improved approach to their work and to create or strengthen a learning culture within the organisation.
- A practical Action Plan that delivers a programme of work based on specific actions leading to real improvements can strengthen or renew the organisation’s sense of direction, vision and goals.
- Real evidence of your organisation’s ‘strengths’ should lead to greater confidence and improve the way you communicate with buyers and investors.
- Involving staff and volunteers in a dialogue on ‘how to improve’ often leads to enhanced morale and motivation.
However, faced with limited time and resources, it is not always easy for organisations to establish processes to ensure continuous improvement or implement specific improvements identified through self-assessment and action planning.
This section offers some tips, tools and resources including case studies of organisations that have used the C3Perform approach to improve.
Resources to help you implement improvements identified in your action plan can be found in the C3Perform learning tool.
